Most symptoms can be treated by a General Practitioner when patients present early. We encourage patients to see a GP first especially to avoid any unnecessary specialist costs, although we will not refuse a self-referral. It is our advice that all patients be GP registered

• We encourage patients to return to their referring health professional for continuation of care e.g. audiologist for hearing aids.
• If we were made aware of any misunderstandings between patients and their referring practitioners, we will assist in reconciling these missunderstandings.
• We provide educational and supporting material for practitioners and patients through our website.
